Kingdom Order in Civil Government
In this four-part teaching, you will learn how God incorporates His character as Lawgiver, Judge and King into the very fabric of all government (Isaiah 33:22). You will see where Yeshua reaffirms the Torah-based parameters for how civil and ecclesiastical governments are supposed to work together to govern society, and what to do if either side goes rogue. As a result, you will gain a deeper understanding of God's purpose for civil government and the believer's role as a citizen under either a democratic or totalitarian system.
This series answers questions such as:
- What did Yeshua (Jesus) really mean when He said, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's"? (Matthew 22:21)
- Why did God establish civil government among the nations and describe our elected officials as "His ministers to us for good"? (Romans 13:1-7)
- What was God's purpose for giving unbelievers authority over His people to enforce civil laws and "punish evil doers"? (Romans 13:4)
- As end time governments become more and more draconian, should New Covenant believers in Yeshua (Jesus) continue to submit to those ruling authorities and why?
